St Jean Cap Ferrat

Saint Jean Cap Ferrat has always been the favorite place of great personalities such as Leopold II (Belgium King), Charlie Chaplin, David Niven, Somerset Maugham, Jean Cocteau, Otto Preminger, the princess Helena of Serbie, Friedrich Nietzsche, Raymond Barre… But also Jack Nicholson, Ivana Trump, Carlos Reutemann, Paul Allen, and Bill Gates, Tina Turner…

However, contrary to St Tropez, Monaco or Beaulieu and others sites of the French Riviera, the village is known for its discretion. Here you’ll find no casino, hip bar, or luxury brand shopping, but only sophisticated and hidden villas that used to belong to the European aristocracies and nowadays welcome wealthy families from around the world.

St Jean should be lived and visited by foot. The peninsula has been spared from real estate frenzy and still offers lush flora. During the summer, it is a quiet shelter, away from the French Riviera turmoil. During the winter, it is a pleasant place to enjoy sunny days, the sea, the various walks and visit.
